“We took both red and green tours from Goreme and this tour, the green tour, was our favorite! There is a wide variety in the sights. The underground city was amazing, and the Ilhara valley was so peaceful and beautiful for the hike/nature walk. Selime monastery was equally fascinating. If you only have a couple days from Goreme, I recommend this tour above all others!”

“Buyer Beware!!! The itinerary clearly states walking along the river. However, when we asked to go down the guide said this wasn’t included in the tour. Also you don’t visit the ferry chimneys and take an extra stop at a shop before dropoff… we missed sunset. I would definitely book a different tour. When we spoke to Viator they contacted the tour operator and claimed the government closed walking along the river. However we saw people walking along it. Disappointed in Viator and this tour operator.”

“Loved this tour! If you are deciding between the red tour or the green tour, definitely do this one. All of the sites are close to Goreme so less driving and more time to see the sites which are all stunning. Tour guide, Suli, was wonderful. She was very informative, nice and gave us ample time to explore. She was very flexible and even though she had to explain in both English and Turkish, she handle it well and didn’t make us wait for both language explanations.”

“Very chaotic in morning, switching from big van to small van. Our tour guide was fantastic though. very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a very hot day, on all of our other tours they provided water, so we did not bring any this time, big mistake!!! Make sure you bring Lira for bathrooms. We did not enjoy pottery stop. Pottery is beautiful but staff followed us around & each time I picked up something they thought I wanted it and wanted to make me a deal. I stopped looking. The places were beautiful, the guide was great but definitely had a better time on the Green tour.”

“Get what you pay for... The guide was very nice and accommodating, think the structure of this tour is off though. First, it's more like a half day, in the middle of the day with a pick-up after 10am vs 8am advertised. That's not a bad thing, but then think this should be a true half day tour without the lunch nor stopping at multiple shopping sites, which seemed to make up the majority of time vs actual sightseeing. Maybe "The Red Tour" doesn't have that much to see, yet could have definitely done without the lunch stop and had this just be a true half day tour.”

“This was a very comprehensive and instructive tour of Cappadocia's main sites. The staff picked us up with sharp punctuality, they were very polite and knowledgeable about every single site we visited. The driver was excellent too. Also, the recommended places for souvenir-shopping and for having lunch were very good. A quick suggestion is that, since this is a 6-hr tour, we would appreciate it if they include some refreshments, or at least water bottles for the road.”
